2. What information we collect

When you log in and use this portal we collect:

• Email address or mobile number — used to verify your identity via one-time password (OTP).
• Company name and contact name — stored in your account record and shown in inquiry messages.
• Browsing activity — pages visited within the portal are recorded in your session to improve navigation. This data is not shared with third parties.
• Inquiry content — when you send an inquiry via WhatsApp or email, the product list and any notes you add are transmitted to our sales team.
• Device-local storage — your inquiry cart and inquiry history are stored in your browser’s local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to send an inquiry.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we hold to:

• Authenticate your access to this portal.
• Process and respond to product inquiries you submit.
• Notify our internal team when a customer logs in, so we can follow up proactively.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with any third party outside of Lami International.

4. WhatsApp and email

When you send an inquiry via WhatsApp, your message is transmitted through WhatsApp’s platform and is subject to WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy. When you send via email, the message is transmitted over standard email infrastructure. Lami International receives and stores these messages as part of our sales correspondence.

5. Data retention

Your account details are retained for as long as you have an active wholesale relationship with Lami International. If you wish to have your account removed, contact us at privacy@lamitrims.com and we will delete your record within 30 days. Inquiry history stored in your browser’s local storage can be cleared at any time from the Past Inquiries page.

6. Security

Access to this portal is protected by OTP verification — no passwords are stored. Product pricing is gated to verified wholesale accounts only. The portal does not process or store any payment information.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of any inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Changes to this policy
